Fresh nut milk is one of the easiest ways to amp up your breakfast routine. And out of all of the different nuts I have tried, cashews are the easiest! If you want to get really fancy, you can strain the milk as you would for almonds or pistachios, but because the cashews have no skin, it is not necessary. This is my basic recipe, but you can get fancy with spices and sweeteners!

I make my cashew milk in a Vitamix which holds 64oz of liquid. This recipe make the full 64oz.
If you are using a Vitamix, you do not have to soak the nuts ahead of time. If using a blender or bullet, I recommend soaking them in water overnight so that they are softer and easier to blend.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Raw Cashews or fill to the 16oz line
- 1-2 TBSP Raw Agave
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla
- Pinch of Sea Salt
Place ingredients in Vitamix and blend for 3-4 minutes. I like to decant my cashew milk into reusable glass bottles. Enjoy!
